This is a brand new half-day workshop, designed for those that are brand new to using studio lighting or would like to learn the fundamentals of taking photos in the studio.
This four-hour class gives you the foundation level knowledge designed to demystify getting great shots from studio strobes, some great go-to lighting set-ups and the opportunity to ask questions about studio lighting modifiers, lighting styles and working with people.

Professional model, Charly Luck will be modelling for us with us for the duration of the workshop, and as we'll be working in a small group, everyone will get plenty of time to shoot images in each of the lighting set-ups that we will show you... each designed to give you a better understanding of lighting people in the studio.
You'll also get notes from the workshop which will include the lighting set-ups you've learned.

Digital SLR or similar mirrorless camera of any make (with flash hotshoe and manual controls).
We recommend a lens that covers 35mm to 150mm on a full frame sensor, but bring your kit bag
Pen and Notepad (notes will be provided too)
Images taken on workshops are intended for training use only. Whilst you may use images taken as part of your portfolio, you should make note that such images have been taken, under instruction, on a workshop.
No commercial use of images is possible.
